Project Challenge
Azure’s cloud system involves massive professional technical terminology, strict compliance requirements, and frequent version iterations. Most generic translation teams fail to maintain term consistency, often delivering stiff, literal translations that do not match local IT industry wording. Additionally, system UI texts have tight character limits, requiring highly condensed and accurate phrasing without losing technical precision.

Our Solution & Strength
Different from basic word conversion, LocTranslation adopted a tech-native localization workflow tailored for cloud platforms. Our native Traditional Chinese linguists with IT industry experience refined every system string, optimized rigid machine outputs, and strictly followed regional enterprise language norms.

We separated HK and TW Traditional Chinese versions independently, avoiding mixed mainland-style expressions commonly seen in ordinary auto-converted files. For iterative bulk content, our optimized MTPE workflow balanced fast delivery and unified quality, perfectly matching Azure’s fast update rhythm.

Project Outcome
The localized Azure regional version achieved fully consistent terminology, natural system copy, and compliant regional expression. It successfully supported the official launch and daily operation of Azure cloud services for Hong Kong and Taiwan enterprise clients, delivering stable, high-standard localized content for long-term platform iteration.
